Siaba Besar — the calm warm-up full of turtles
Siaba Besar is a sheltered reef slope and coral garden in roughly 5–18 metres, generally calm enough that dive centres across Labuan Bajo use it as a check-dive site. That makes it the natural first dive of the day: sort your weighting, settle your buoyancy, and let your guide watch how everyone dives before the boat moves on. The site is known for its high turtle density, healthy coral and easy photography conditions — newly certified divers do their first Komodo dive here for good reason.
