Private guide ratios
On a VVIP charter the standard arrangement is a dedicated dive guide for your group, with a second guide added for larger parties or mixed experience levels. In practice that means a guide-to-diver ratio of 1:2 or 1:3 rather than the 1:4 to 1:6 typical of shared boats. In Komodo's current-swept sites that is a real safety upgrade: your guide reads the current for your pace, re-times a dive without a committee decision, and can send advanced divers to Castle Rock while newer divers enjoy the calm turtle gardens of Siaba Besar on the same morning.
